Hey guys. ubisoft customer support has no idea what they are doing and how to fix my game so im hoping someone else out there has resolved this same issue. My RS6 game will download to about 7.45gb before stopping and telling me to check my internet connection and hard disk space. i have a solid internet connection and i have about 200gb free on my drive. uplay and the game are on my OS drive per instruction from ubisupport and i have tried any and all suggestions they have given. which i copied and pasted from my emails.

It's possible that the 'Ubisoft Game Launcher' software will not be listed if you have already uninstalled it or the game. If so, you can skip this step. Next, you will need to uninstall the 'Uplay' software from the 'Add/Remove Programs' (Windows XP) / 'Programs and Features' (Windows Vista, 7 and 8) icon in your computer's control panel. Disabling your background applications: Go to the Start menu on your Desktop. Press the Windows key and the letter R at the same time. Type in MSCONFIG and press Enter. Go to the Startup tab. Click the option to Disable All. Press Apply, then Close and pick the option to Restart. 2. Clearing your temporary files: Go to the Start menu on your Desktop. Press the Windows key and the letter R at the same time. Type in %TEMP% and press Enter. Select All (Edit > Select All or Ctrl+A). Click the Delete key. Note: If you are using Windows 7, you will need to press Ctrl + A together to highlight the files. Once the files are highlighted, you will need to press the Delete key. 3. Make sure the drivers for your video card, sound card, motherboard and processor are up-to-date. Running 2 cards in SLI or running 2 screens can also cause issues.
